With 300 concerts a year number one among the largest chamber music-concert series in the world.

Highly qualified musicians and internationally renowned soloists perform the musical threasures of the great masters of music. Naturally included are the best works of W.A. Mozart.

Unequaled and unique is the view from the concert hall down onto the city of Salzburg and the countryside. After the concert, the visitors will have "Salzburg by night" lying practically at their feet. And thus a festival concert turns into an unforgettable experience.

However, the "Salzburger Festungskonzerte" offers far more than just a concert. You also experience the special atmosphere of the 900 years old Festung Hohensalzburg, the landmark of the Mozart city Salzburg.
